Adidas x Na-Kel 3ST.003 Shoes

Designed with a distinctively clean and modern aesthetic, this 3ST.003 model blends a signature football boot with a classic skate silhouette. In collaboration with Na-Kel Smith the 3ST.003s are constructed from smooth ‘for the win’ white leather, hints of Adidas’ Stan Smith model are reflected through pops of bold green whilst decorative top stitched panels across the toes and sides are reminiscent of a football shoe. Breathable mesh starts at the tongue and continues to the side walls whilst wrapping around the heel. Referencing Adidas’ famous triple stripe, lines of perforated holes add further detail to the outer sections and bold gold branding has been printed in metallic vinyl alongside. Designed to be the next generation of skate shoes, a fold down tongue boasts a double sided design with mesh underneath and matching white leather on top and a green Adidas emblem.

Throughout the inside, a yellow mesh lining provides breathability and ventilation. A lightweight EVA midsole and sockliner provides a high level of impact support without any additional bulk or weight. White cotton laces offer a secure fastening and a metallic print of ‘Na-Kel’ has been added alongside the fabric heel tab which assists entrance. Additional durability has been added through a textured green sidewall wrap that also adds additional colour. Complete with a Geoflex outsole with a herringbone and honeycomb design, these shoes boast a high amount of grip and flexibility.

Adidas have achieved the perfect blend of innovation and timelessness through their 3ST.003 range. The involvement of street skater and actor Na-Kel Smith in this edition lifts the style further. Known for being multi-talented through art and design alongside riding for Adidas, Supreme and Fucking Awesome, Na-Kel is based in L.A and recently starred in Jonah Hill’s ‘Mid90s’.
